Our singular focus is to help achieve brilliant outcomes for the patients we see.

Consultant-led treatment and care that puts your welfare at the centre of everything we do.

We understand the impact that ocular misalignment has on adults lives and strive to work with you for the best possible outcome

At Bright Eyes, we offer a comprehensive strabismus and ocular motility service to our adult patients.

Living with strabismus, for many people, can have a damaging effect on self-esteem and social interactions. We acknowledge the importance of this and consider that ocular re-alignment should be restorative surgery. In addition, ocular misalignment can result in disabling double vision which, for most people, can be effectively treated.

Below is a list of the of some of the ocular movement disorders we treat:

Recurrent childhood strabismus
Re-operation for recurrent misalignment previously treated is almost always possible with good expected outcomes.

New onset adult strabismus
This can generate a lot of anxiety and we work hard to provide an accurate diagnosis and clear treatment plan.

Neurological disorders resulting in ocular misalignment
It is important to note that there are interventions that can alleviate some of the disabling ocular and visual effects of neurological disease. Early diagnosis and treatment is essential to ensure the best outcomes.

Dysthyroid Eye Disease
This can be a disabling condition related to thyroid dysfunction. We take a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure the best health and vision outcomes.

We offer a caring, comprehensive and holistic approach to the assessment of your concerns and will spend time to ensure that you are informed about all the possible treatment options.
